[How to] how to choose a Hairstyle based on Face Shape

When it comes to get a new hair style, the shape of your face is a major factor to consider. Just as certain colors you wear can compliment your skin tone, a hairstyle designed around the shape of your face can dramatically effect your overall appearance!

Before you choose a hairstyle, you should know own your face shape.
There are 5 basic face shapes.
               1. Round
               2. Square
               3. Heart Shape
               4. Oval
               5. Long/Rectangular

1.  ROUND FACE SHAPE

A round face is as wide as it is long with soft, round edges.
A round face shape is best complimented with styles that minimize volume around the face, keeping volume at the crown of the head. A round face can appear much slimmer with some soft gradual layers and wispy ends.
Side swept bangs are also a good look for those of you with round faces.
AVOID - curly short hair, short, cropped styles, styles that add volume at the sides.

2. SQUARE FACE SHAPE

A square face is as wide as it is long but with more of an angular appearance than a round face.
The goal with a square face shape is to play down your angular jaw line. This is easily accomplished with texture such as curls or choppy ends. Short to medium length is the best but for longer hair, go for layers that start at the jaw and work their way down.
Wispy bangs can help to balance a square jawline.
AVOID - chin length bobs and blunt bangs.

3. HEART FACE SHAPE

A heart shape face has a narrow jaw and is wider at the forehead and/or cheekbones.
Side swept bangs draw attention to your eyes and away from your chin. A bob is also a great way to balance a heart shaped face. Long layers are a must if your hair is short or long.
AVOID - choppy layers, super short hair and volume at the crown.

4. OVAL FACE SHAPE

An oval face has a length that is equal to one and a half times width.
Lucky you! an oval face is considered to be proportioned and well balanced. You can get away with almost any hairstyle so have fun!
AVOID - short layers that add height at the crown or top of your head, avoid a blunt cut if your hair is curly or thick.

5. LONG/RECTANGULAR  FACE SHAPE

A long face shape is longer than it is wide, a rectangular is the same just with a more angular appearance.
A hairstyle that is short to medium in length will most compliment a long face. You can soften a rectangular face with layers that fall around your face.
Styles that create width work wonders as well. Chin length bobs, brow skimming bangs and curls or waves.

AVOID - long hair (this will only make face even longer) and super short hairstyles.

[Review] Jeju island (in South Korea)

Last year, I went to Jeju island with my family.
Jeju Island, known as the "Island of the Gods," is a popular vacation spot for Koreans. yeah, when I went there, it was best and wonderful place as well:)
If you read this blog continuously, you can figure out why I feel so.

  [Hotel]
my family and I went to "Haevich Hotel". we could see a great park and swimming pool. a wide panorama spreads out before me. not only nice outside, but also beautiful inside was there!
somtimes we ate buffet meal. there were lots of delicious food that 'all-I-can-eat'. I cannot forget tha buffet until now.

 [Breathtaking Natural Beauty]
Jeju Island has a lots of beautiful places. we couldn't see all of the scene, but visited some beautiful places.
one of the three most famous waterfalls on Jeju Island, Cheonjiyeon (meaning a waterfall connecting the sky (Cheon) and land (ji)) received a large number of tourists to get their picture taken with the falls in the background.  paused to look at the view , we were about to take a picture too! yeah~ It was great!! at that time, I thought how great is our GOD:)

Jeju island is volcanic. that means that the soil is very good for growing things, all sorts of things.Jeju is particularly famous for citrus fruits like halla-bong and other tangrines. the richness of the soil is not wasted at all.
And, as it turns out, the soil as well as the weather conditions make the island an optimal environment for growing tea. So during our vacation we went to go to a "Green tea farm" .
I enjoyed drinking tea, ice cream, cake (all of these are made of green tea!) at "O’Sulloc Green Tea museum"  Before entering the museum itself, we tramped through the green tea fields for a little while. The fields were beautiful (even though it was winter) and  with rocky volcanic soil, and we could  smell the manure of the green tea field.

Situated just outside of Seogwipo City is a citrus wonderland in Jeju island, there are  mandarin orange farms that operated by farmers. I' ve heard Winter is the best time to harvest mandarins, so these farmers are busiest at this time of the year. Jeju Island is known for its delicious mandarin oranges. so we decided to go to "Mandarin Orange farms".
We could not only enjoy fruits but also pick fruits by ourselves:) It was interesting experience.

If you have never seen under the sea, I recommend that this is a great way to see the beautiful underwater flora and fauna around the island without scuba diving.
You can travel underwater in a "Submarine". I saw the wonderful world under the sea by submarine. I was beeeaaauuutiful beyond any possibility of expression in words...

The last thing that I want to mention is "Riding a hores"!!!! there was a feeling of freedom, of breaking the shackles and surging forward when I am riding a horse.
My family and I sought out all feelings like thrill, romanticism, and fear(?) while horse riding in Jeju. (actually my father was afraid of horse riding..haha..his face took on a set expression while horse riding. besides, my mom declined to ride...hh)
Anyway, horse riding in Jeju, I swear It's going to be also your chance to be one with nature and in absolute tranquility!
